Back in 2008, Larry Johns was working at a large consultant firm. One day Larry found himself sitting with a small business owner struggling to stay afloat. While going over solutions he and his firm could offer, that business owner broke down into tears. On the verge of losing her precious business and unable to afford proper help, Larry made it his mission to provide accessible solutions for small businesses. That very moment inspired Larry and his son Robbie to create Lighthouse Small Business Solutions with the goal to deliver the tools small business owners and start-ups needed to succeed.

With over 40 years of management experience in a wide range of industries, from retail to medical research, Larry and Robbie helped aid these businesses to achieve success. Lighthouse's greatest pleasure is seeing businesses survive and thrive through the turbulent sea of business.

However, as these businesses grew, so did their need for more complex solutions and in-depth analysis. To meet these growing needs, Lighthouse Management Services, Inc. was born with the goal of providing accurate Financial Analytics, In-depth Consulting, Comprehensive Training and Professional Management Services. With the provision of these more advanced services, Lighthouse Management Services aims to ensure businesses continue to navigate towards the shores of success.

"After losing my mom in a car accident and my dad remarried, life was incredibly tough. After my father lost his job, he pursued a career in consulting for polymer and plastic companies to provide for a large family of 8 children. Following suit, I began selling Christmas cards door to door at the ripe old age of 9 years old. That day, an entrepreneur was born.

Over the years, I've helped start a plethora of businesses, from watch and jewelry repair to a delivery service and even Biotech Research. These business ventures were built upon a foundation consisting of integrity, honesty and perseverance.

Currently, I am the Senior Partner at Lighthouse Small Business Solutions, Treasurer of the non-profit Mount Eagle Foundation and President of CuBaL, LLC, a property holding company. I have a degree in Business Administration and I am a certified Executive Analyst as well as a certified QuickBooks Proadvisor.

In 2019-2020, I served as the Division E Director for Toastmasters International, a communication and leadership organization. I am a charter member of Winston Salem Toastmasters. I have won multiple awards in competitive speaking in Area and Divison levels for both Humorous and motivational speaking. I have coached a myriad of members on how to better their speaking and leadership skills."

"In 2008, I started Lighthouse Small Business Solutions with my father, Larry. We shared the same passion for helping businesses, but during our beginning, only one of us could do that full time. Since then, I have spent eight years in retail management and began pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. During my time as retail manager, I hired and trained both sales and customer service team members.

Through training and coaching, I was able to take under performing sales associates and put them on the path to success. Retail management also provided me the experience of managing inventory on various levels.

While retail management's unique challenges were rewarding, my passion has always lied in finding ways to help businesses achieve success. To that end, I have brought my skills, experience and education to Lighthouse Management Services to help as many businesses as possible find their individual path to success."
